Group journey back to...

Embodied Time

For businesses that want to offer a transformational and unique workshop-style group container for women within their place of work to enrich their studio offering, event programme or as part of a corporate wellbeing initiative.

‘Embodied Time’ is where we will plant alchemical seeds of cyclical awareness and attunement for women looking to come back into relationship with their body.

There will be a total of five 3.5 hr in-person group sessions that will take place every 2 weeks over a 3-month period.

Each session will be part teaching and part exploration in circle and we will identify how to practically integrate this knowledge into everyday life in order to embody and fully benefit from this wisdom.

OVERVIEW:

everything you need to know
  • An opening to the 3-month journey where we settle into a new space, clarify intentions and orientate towards a new perspective.

In this session we will explore the differences between allopathic and holistic healing as well as the way the body-mind is held in both Western and Eastern approaches. This will be set in context to the collective experience as we explore personal stories and relationships with the body-mind.

Attendees will receive an introduction to some of the core tenets of Ayurveda, which will provide language for the journey ahead, opening up a door to a world of multiplicity, beauty and perfection - that perhaps has been concealed.

Each will each have a chance to bring forward areas of physical, mental and emotional struggle or vulnerability, whilst also bearing witness to the experiences of those who are gathered.

In the stories shared we will find threads and themes that are in common - all be them under a different guise. We will take these parts, patterns and threads into the sessions that follow to weave a story that reveals a larger collective truth, whilst expanding appreciation and the ability to see the beauty of their individuated expression and unique experience.

  • Introducing the Solar Body.

In this session attendees will receive practical guidance on how to reset their circadian “solar” clock and support their metabolism with a focus on sleep, digestion and daily routine.

They learn about the Ayurvedic concept of “Agni” (metabolic fire) and explore solar intelligence through an archetypal and multidimensional lens.

We discuss the challenges that pervade modern life and the 9-5 routine, which inhibit Agni and disconnect us from nature, the sun, our evolutionary potential and place of power.

We hold space to share stories and reflect upon our relationship with The Masculine and open the door to explore the current patriarchal paradigm; in order to distinguish between the two and to identify how these energetics play out within our collective day-to-day, personal and work lives.

  • Introducing the Elemental Body.

In this session attendees will learn about the Ayurvedic concept of “Dosha” and receive practical guidance on how to identify bio-energetic (elemental) expression and imbalance within their body-mind.

Through the concept of Dosha we learn to look at the world through an elemental lens, which radically alters binary perception from one of judgement and “wrong-ness” - to one of beauty and innate perfection.

We examine the current relationships with elemental exchange, exploring environmental inputs (food, work, relationships, location, habits and routine) and how they impact and become our inner reality and manifest experience.

We discuss our relationship with identity - who and what we think we are, who and what we have had to be and who and what we might allow ourselves to become. We may decide to bring in elemental astrology as a mirror for each of us to see ourselves through Nature’s design and lens.

  • Introducing the Lunar Body.

In this session attendees will receive practical guidance on how to align with their menstrual cycle and how to move through their internal “seasons” with more ease and reverence.

Through an Ayurvedic lens, we examine the impact of lifestyle, diet and stress on menstrual flow and journey back in time to share initiatory stories of menarche and womanhood.

We discuss the challenges, importance and impact of embracing and embodying our lunar nature in a very masculine “solar” world and identify ways in which we can start to reclaim and/or strengthen our body autonomy and sovereignty.

We take time to explore our collective and personal relationship with The Feminine principle and how she feels - inviting her to come forward and take up space. In this session we will be guided by her to where She wants to go, which may be into past relationships, our younger years, or further back in time - crossing intergenerational and ancestral borders to meet her where she has been waiting for us.

  • A closing to the 3-month journey where we will connect over a cosy cup of tea or cacao and reflect on where we have been, what we have learnt and where we now find ourselves.

In this session we will review any aspect of the collective experience or teaching that attendees would like to dive deeper into. Here we create space to ensure these alchemical seeds are properly sown!

We will return to any initial concerns, symptoms or challenges and meet them again through our new lens of “Embodied Time”. We will consolidate Ayurvedic dietary and lifestyle advice to ensure we are best equipped to step out and continue our attunement journey.

We will identify parts of ourselves that need further tending, nourishment and continued support, discussing potential onward pathways to explore.

And finally, we will speak to the story and the picture that is forming (both collective and personal) that is starting to reflect a more whole, authentic, on purpose and expanded self. Here we will take time to celebrate our journey to date from a place of inspired gratitude.

  • After the first session, attendees will receive a PDF with a “packing list” on how best to prepare for the journey ahead that may include some initial dietary and routine considerations, shopping lists as well as recommendations and tools for daily self care and ritual.

Upon arrival to the first session they will also receive a Self-Care goodie bag…(yay for treats!).

After each session attendees will receive a PDF with teaching summaries, recipes, routine & ritual inspiration and practical tools to support them in their journey.

In the weeks in between sessions there will be the opportunity to participate in a group chat (WhatsApp or Telegram) where they may ask any burning questions, provide inspiration and support. Here we share insights, struggles and celebrate any breakthroughs!

The chat will be open 2 weeks following our closing session if attendees have any final questions, insights, struggles and breakthroughs to share.

  • I am currently offering in-person group sessions across the South of the England, stretching from Bristol and Bath, through Wiltshire, Berkshire to London.

These sessions are an opportunity for you to gather and serve your community of women and host an experience that will deepen relational bonds and create a truly supportive and transformational space.

Sessions are designed to be intimate and held in-person within your place of work, studio, event or gathering space.

Think “Girls’ Night In” (or Day!) - but with a nourishing, healing and heart-centred twist!

I will provide all session materials and on the day of each session, I will arrive early to set up with co-facilitators. Please advise what facilities and furniture we have access to, in order to provide you with an accurate exchange.

The gathering space will need to be clean and free from clutter - and other people for the duration of our session.

A strict closed door policy will apply when sessions have started to protect the privacy of the women gathered.

Please make us aware of those who need additional support due to a disability.

If anyone would like to make a specific concern or area of vulnerability known in advance. This can be submitted to us directly and privately by the attendee in a questionnaire that will be sent out ahead of starting the first session.

All information provided will be held in strict confidentiality.

  • What if I don’t have a suitable location to host sessions?

    • Just let me know, I can help find a suitable location. There will be a hire fee to consider, but we can discuss any budgetary and logistical needs or constraints head of time.

What if someone can’t make it to the in-person session?

    • Sessions are not recorded due to the intimate nature of the topics that may be discussed. When enough notice is given (at least 1 week), we should be able to reschedule. Please note, that to uphold the integrity of these sessions, they require each person to commit their time, participation and presence fully - upon saying yes. Attendee commitment is for the programme as a whole, not individual sessions. Please note that sessions are non-transferrable.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of people that can be held in the container?

    • Ideally 6 people minimum and up to 20 people max.

    Do you offer refunds?

    • A full refund is possible when at least 10 working days notice is given. A partial 50% refund is possible when at least 5 working days notice is given. Once sessions start no refunds are available. Attendee commitment is for the programme as a whole, not individual sessions. Please note that sessions are not transferrable.
